Bowery blues makers uses only the best quality denim that is weaved by mr. kiyama, a legend and an okayama denim mill veteran of 60 years. he creates a one of a kind denim that breathes and ages gracefully by combining the beautiful elements of an old toyoda g3 weaving machines and america cotton*. in mr. kiyama's small factory in okayama, there are total of 8 machines which produce only 8 small rolls of denim per day. the production process is incredibly time-consuming and complex and yet it makes his denim a uniquely rare denim. *Now I use mixed cotton. mainly america and some austrailia, greek for best result.
